Strengths: Melbourne has an excellent catcher in Ed Riebe. The Beavers have one of the best all-around second basemen in the league. Third base is covered by Johnny Meusel. Hands down, the Melbourne Beavers have the best rotation in baseball. They have a solid bullpen, with no discernable weakspots.
Weaknesses: Management would like to find someone to play shortstop for them. They need three quality outfielders. Quite frankly, the Beavers don't have any true middle relievers or setup men, so one has to imagine that's high on their wishlist.
