Val Zuehlke
Third Baseman | Free Agents
Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. But Val's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. Zuehlke always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense Minor league scouts have accused Zuehlke of being a liability in the field. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. He has no speed at all and runs the bases conservatively.
