Pitching
It's tough to get much loft on the ball against him, as he works down in the strike zone to begin with and his two-seamer produces mostly groundballs. Sometimes I wish he'd just give up on throwing the changeup, it's like a BP ball! If you're going in to face Zahnow, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Zahnow, and that's saying a lot. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.

Defense & Hitting
Zahnow does a very poor job of holding baserunners because of his deliberate move to home plate. Zahnow comes off the mound hard toward the third base side on his delivery, making it difficult for him to field balls to the right side or to cover first base on a close play. Zahnow is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Zahnow has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Zahnow as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Zahnow.
