Hitting
In past seasons, Zahner has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Zahner often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.
