Fuzz Wright
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. Wright has one of the strongest arms among first basemen. Wright doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.
