Pitching
He is adept at coaxing groundballs with his sinking fastball and plunging curveball, so hitters try to force him to elevate his deliveries and hope that they'll catch too much of the strike zone. His curveball is solid; he throws it better than your average starter. Wilson can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He doesn't have much of a pickoff move and he's slow getting the ball to home plate out of the set position. Wilson doesn't field his position well. Wilson is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Wilson has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Wilson as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
I just don't know if The Free Agents are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
