Sancho Venturini
Relief Pitcher | Free Agents

Pitching
He isn't that tough to hit, but it's difficult to get good loft on his pitches and he seldom gives up the longball. Sometimes I wish he'd just give up on throwing the changeup, it's like a BP ball! If you're going in to face Venturini, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Venturini, and that's saying a lot. Venturini has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. This man owns lefties. Put it this way, if your lineup is full of them, you might want rethink your lineup.

Defense & Hitting
Venturini's follow-through leaves him in a vulnerable position, so he has trouble with comebackers. Venturini has a lousy move to first, and opposing managers will run against him all day. Venturini is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Venturini has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Venturini as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Venturini.
