Hitting
Valle never has been a patient hitter. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this guy play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Smoky Valle to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Smoky's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Valle isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
