Earl Torborg
Right Fielder | Free Agents
Hitting In past seasons, Torborg has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Torborg is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense Torborg isn't a fluid right fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.
