Charlie Toppin
Right Fielder | Paris Isotopes
Hitting One thing's for sure, late in the game you're glad you have him on the field. Toppin's long arms help him generate tremendous power when he connects. Problem is, his long swing makes him an easy mark for strikeouts. Toppin was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.
Baserunning & Defense Toppin isn't a fluid right fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Toppin has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.
