Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. With his slap-hitting approach, Tobey always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Sheridan Tobey to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Tobey doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Tobey you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
