Jimmy Tipple
Second Baseman | Free Agents
Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Tipple is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Tipple always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. Minor league scouts have accused Tipple of being a liability in the field. Jimmy's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
