Felipe Tiburon
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Tiburon is an excellent mistake hitter who belts middle-of-the-plate fastballs or hanging breaking balls. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. Left field, right field, center: this guy puts it all over.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Tiburon doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.

2014 Outlook
If Tiburon doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
