Randy Thomas
Starting Pitcher | Free Agents

Pitching
Sometimes I wish he'd just give up on throwing the changeup, it's like a BP ball! If you're going in to face Thomas, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. When you throw a curveball, it better break. Hanging curves equal earned runs in this league, you just can't get away with them. Unfortunately, Thomas's curveball tends to hang. In his first taste of the majors, he has kept righthanders in check but wasn't as effective against lefties.

Defense & Hitting
Thomas has an impressive presence on the mound, always taking an aggressive posture. His windup, though, makes him an easy target to run on. Thomas is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Thomas has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Thomas as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Thomas.
