Hitting
One of the nice things about Jahmal is that he's a real clutch hitter. The book on Thang is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Thang always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Thang isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
