Hitting
One of the nice things about Italo is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Sturrup always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He is easy prey for any righthander who can throw a slider off the outside corner. Sturrup handles lefthanders who bring the ball into his quick hands much better.

Baserunning & Defense
Sturrup isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough.
