Archie Somerville
First Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
One of Somerville's strongest assets is his performance with men in scoring position. Archie Somervilleis Mr. Clutch. Somerville never has been a patient hitter. Somerville always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit Somerville when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.
