Cris Shorten

Hitting
Shorten never has been a patient hitter. Shorten always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Shorten you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.
