Randy Shelton
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Shelton never has been a patient hitter. Shelton was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He uses the entire field and has gap power.

Baserunning & Defense
Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Shelton isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
