Val Sharperson
Left Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
The book on Sharperson is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Let's face facts: Sharperson hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Val Sharperson to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
He's an adequate leftfielders who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough. Sharperson isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
