Kayden Schilz
First Baseman | Dublin Deadbeat Drunks

Hitting
He thrives late in games. Schilz is an excellent mistake hitter who belts middle-of-the-plate fastballs or hanging breaking balls. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He's a straight pull hitter whose power extends from the leftfield gap to the line.

Baserunning & Defense
Schilz plays a near-flawless first baseman, making very few errors. Kayden's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Schilz may be the slowest runner ever to steal 30 bases in a season. He makes up for his lack of speed with a quick first step, uncanny instincts and a peerless grasp of game situations.

2014 Outlook
This kid has earned his ticket to AAA. The Dublin Deadbeat Drunks will call Kayden Schilz up as soon they have a roster spot and a tailored uniform. Schilz is in charge when he's at the plate.
