He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to right-center.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Sankey is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
