Anthoni Ropp
Second Baseman | Chicago Windbags

Hitting
During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Ropp continues to use the opposite field far more often than most power hitters, though he has learned to turn on the ball when he gets a pitch to drive.

Baserunning & Defense
Ropp is one of the most efficient baserunners in the game, taking extra bases and swiping bags at a high percentage. Ropp isn't a fluid second baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Anthoni's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2014 Outlook
Ropp has impressed at the A-ball level. Look for the Chicago Windbags to give him a shot in Double or Triple A before the year is up.
