John Romo
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He thrives late in games. He sometimes will press in clutch situations and chase fastballs up and out of the zone. Romo was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His home runs tend to come on balls that he can pull down the left-field line.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. John's arm leaves a little to be a desired. No longer much of a threat to steal, he's smart enough to make pitchers pay if they ignore him.
