Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Renell always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Renell isn't a fluid first baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Renell doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.

2014 Outlook
It's really a shame he hasn't caught on somewhere. He might be a decent addition to someone's bench.
