Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He's a straight pull hitter whose power extends from the leftfield gap to the line.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. Puhl has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.
