Charlie Perzanowski
Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Pitching
Though Perzanowski can't just blow the ball by hitters, he has some giddyup on his fastball. Perzanowski commands a stupefying curveball. This curve is what makes him one of the most dominant righties in the game. The Retired or Inactive Players hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. His composure needs work. When Perzanowski starts getting hit, he gets mad and loses concentration. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Perzanowski, and that's saying a lot. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He tends to fall off slightly to the first-base side of the mound, making him vulnerable to bunts toward third base. He makes up for that minor flaw by being aggressive in fielding his position. He never has controlled the running game. Perzanowski is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Perzanowski has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Perzanowski as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
I just don't know if The Retired or Inactive Players are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
