Ken Pena
Shortstop | Free Agents

Hitting
One of the nice things about Ken is that he's a real clutch hitter. The book on Pena is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. The Free Agents do tend to sit Pena when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Ken Pena to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Pena isn't a fluid shortstop, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.
