Hitting
Paulette never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Paulette's absolutely no threat to steal and doubles must be obvious for him to chance advancing.
