Wattie Pascoe
First Baseman | Detroit Polar Bears
Hitting But Wattie's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. Let's face facts: Pascoe hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Wattie Pascoe to pull the ball.
Baserunning & Defense When you play Pascoe you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. Pascoe isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
2014 Outlook Pascoe admits he probably never will have even average power.
