Richie Parsons
Catcher | Free Agents

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Parsons is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Richie Parsons to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Richie's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Parsons's absolutely no threat to steal and doubles must be obvious for him to chance advancing.
