Clement Pappan
Relief Pitcher | Free Agents

Pitching
He can get groundballs when he needs them in a jam. He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. Sometimes I wish he'd just give up on throwing the changeup, it's like a BP ball! If you're going in to face Pappan, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Pappan, and that's saying a lot. Pappan has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. In his first taste of the majors, he has kept lefthanders in check but wasn't as effective against righties.

Defense & Hitting
Pappan is nothing special in the field. Pappan doesn't make much of an attempt to combat the running game. Basestealers ran at will last year. Pappan is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Pappan has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Pappan as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Pappan.
