Pitching
If you're going in to face Osterman, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Osterman, and that's saying a lot. Osterman has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. But Osterman, do us a favor. Stop throwing that changeup. It looks like a beachball. He's trying to develop a sinker, but as of yet it's been well below par. Osterman also throws a screwball. It's not very good, but he still throws one. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.

Defense & Hitting
Osterman does a very poor job of holding baserunners because of his deliberate move to home plate. He's slow to get off the mound to field his position, especially to the third-base side. Osterman is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Osterman has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Osterman as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Osterman.
