Jim Olwine
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Olwine has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Olwine always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. Jim's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Olwine doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.

2014 Outlook
In one full big league season, Olwine already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
