Hitting
Nahorodny never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to left-center.

Baserunning & Defense
Nahorodny is an above-average runner, but lacks the first-step explosiveness needed to become a basestealing threat. Nahorodny isn't a fluid left fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough.
