Magrini never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Magrini has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Jaime Magrini to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Magrini isn't a fluid right fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.
