Hitting
Lowe never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Lowe has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Let's face facts: Lowe hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Lowe doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Lowe's absolutely no threat to steal and doubles must be obvious for him to chance advancing.
