Brayden Littman
Relief Pitcher | Free Agents
Pitching A groundball pitcher, Littman needs to have sharp command to succeed. If you're going in to face Littman, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Littman, and that's saying a lot. Littman has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. When you throw a curveball, it better break. Hanging curves equal earned runs in this league, you just can't get away with them. Unfortunately, Littman's curveball tends to hang. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.
Defense & Hitting Littman will make routine plays, but like most young pitchers he needs more experience to improve as a fielder. His move to first base is slow and ineffective. Littman is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Littman has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Littman as a pinch-runner on occasion.
2014 Outlook But if you ask me, I'll pass on Littman.
