Hitting
He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to right-center. It's hard to explain but Les Leith plays much better on the road then he does at home.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Leith doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
