The book on Lamore is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Lamore always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit Lamore when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. Lamore doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. His arm is accurate enough.
