Benito Kolacki
Left Fielder | Paris Isotopes

Hitting
Kolacki quickly learned that he could drive the ball out the opposite way. That knowledge has made him a better hitter because he now uses the entire field. Kolacki never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
He gets a good jump on flyballs and doesn't shy away from the fence. His arm is accurate enough. Kolacki doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
