This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Don Kohlman to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm strength is well above average and runners rarely try to take liberties against him. Kohlman is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
