Bill Jordan
Starting Pitcher | Free Agents
Pitching A groundball pitcher, Jordan needs to have sharp command to succeed. Jordan can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Jordan, and that's saying a lot. The one thing I must say I don't like about Jordan is how easily rattled he gets. If he makes a mistake to a hitter and the guy winds up on second or third, you can pretty much count on the guy scoring. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.
Defense & Hitting Jordan's move to first base is average. Jordan is nothing special in the field. Jordan is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Jordan has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Jordan as a pinch-runner on occasion.
2014 Outlook I just don't know if The Free Agents are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
