Carl Jensen
Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Jensen never has been a patient hitter. Jensen always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. He's also one of the better throwing shortstops in the league. Jensen doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.

2014 Outlook
If Jensen doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
