Hitting
The book on Hutcherson is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Let's face facts: Hutcherson hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Kenn Hutcherson to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. Hutcherson doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
