Yank Hudson
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Hudson is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Hudson when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Yank Hudson to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Hudson doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Hudson isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
