Ritchie Hepstein
Right Fielder | Free Agents
Hitting The book on Hepstein is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Hepstein always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit Hepstein when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense Hepstein isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. Hepstein doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. His arm is accurate enough.
