Hembd always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Hembd's range at catcher isn't exceptional, but he has very soft hands and a strong, accurate arm. He's very dependable. Hembd is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
