Pitching
His stuff becomes less sharp as he gets into the late innings. If you're going in to face Hanebrink, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Hanebrink, and that's saying a lot. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.

Defense & Hitting
His pickoff move is only fair. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. Hanebrink is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Hanebrink has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Hanebrink as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Hanebrink.
