Pitching
If you're going in to face Hammond, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Hammond, and that's saying a lot. Hammond has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
He hurts himself by falling awkwardly off the mound in his follow-through, which allows too many balls to go through the middle for base hits. Hammond does a very poor job of holding baserunners because of his deliberate move to home plate. Hammond is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Hammond has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Hammond as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2014 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Hammond.
